Crossed Genres is holding a flash fiction contest from late May through the end of June! Our favorite 10 stories will be posted on the website for readers to vote on, and the story which receives the most votes wins!
Prizes1st place: free 1-year subscription to Crossed Genres, $8, and a prominent link on the website’s front page
2nd-4th places: free 1-year subscription to Crossed Genres
DatesMay 26-June 14: Submissions will be accepted
June 15-21: We’ll read all the submissions and choose our 10 favorites
June 22-30: Open voting on the top 10 submissionsWinners will be announced July 2.
RULES
Submissions must be Science Fiction and/or Fantasy. Matching the current Genre is not required.
100 to 500 words – NO EXCEPTIONS! Any submission outside this range will be automatically disqualified! (Words will be counted in MS Word.)
Each person may enter a maximum of three (3) submissions
NO simultaneous submissions or reprints
